About

I've had my own personal website for years (probably around '99 really!) but have never really done anything much with it apart from publish the (very infrequent) blog post and hosting a bunch of photo albums for the world to see (although they're no longer online).

I used to have a strange self built CMS which powered the site but that soon became a real headache to look after.  A few years back I heard about a CMS called Drupal and thought that would be a good way to go.  I installed it, chose a theme and didn't do much with it.  Then I installed some photo album software called Gallery, upgraded it, and move the site up from Drupal 4 to 5 and then from 5 to 6, and more recently from 6 to now Drupal 8.
